Food is excellent and kitchen is careful. However, owner was very rude and behaved as though we were lucky to be eating there. Would not go back.
My husband and I just visited Lake Louise and ate at the Outpost Pub twice. We had a delicious meal there both times, and the service was friendly and timely, not too fast, not too slow. Loved the goulash with spaetzle and red cabbage! Nice atmosphere and fair prices.
The chicken burger was delicous, the kids chicken fingers were the best (not the cheap frozen chicken fingers most have), and the pizza was OK. 2 out of 3 were home runs and the 3rd was OK. This is elevated expensive pub food in a nice pub atmosphere. Highly recommend the food the service was good too.
Not impressed with the food or choices at the hotel pub, although we probably shouldn't have ordered Nachos in the Canadian Rockies. Highlight was ordering a glass of Bordeaux from the Post Hotel's 25,000 wine cellar. Would not go back, but stick to the main restaurant in the hotel.
