Like all Tim Horton's locations, this one also often doesn't have half of the items listed on their menu. Maybe one out of every ten visits, they actually have chili available. It's a disappointing trend these days.
I wish I could give zero stars. I do not take Google reviews lightly but honestly, the company as a whole is incompetent. Earlier today, I ordered two dozen donuts for an event. I was given a confirmation number after payment and was told to pick up before 10 p.m. Approx. 2-3 hours later, my friend gave them the order number and she was told, we do not have enough product for your order . I would think that the store would secure the product at the time of ordering!! If there wasn 't enough product at that time, decline the order! I would understand that considering the time of my order (around dinner time). Instead, they processed my credit card for approx $30 and when we went to pick up, nothing was available. The error here is on two levels... first, corporate Tim Hortons needs to have inventory numbers available for online orders. Second, when an online order comes through, individual stores need to secure the product. Now, not only do we not have the donuts for our event, I have to spend even more time trying to get my money back! I called directly after my friend tried to pick up and two people tried back peddle. I understand that this isn 't their fault as it 's at a higher level, so really, TH needs to stop passing blame for their incompetencies. I also realize that this seems like a first world problem, but I really don 't have time to deal with this when I 'm trying to operate a business of my own.
I frequently visit this Tim Hortons location and usually have positive interactions. There is a lady who works there that I often encounter, and she is incredibly kind. This morning, while ordering a coffee (it was raining), I had some trouble communicating through the speaker. Despite my efforts to speak louder, the lady finally heard my order. When I arrived at the window to pay, the man there barely acknowledged me and criticized the noise of my truck. Although I apologized, he continued to speak rudely and condescendingly. This is not the first time I have encountered this attitude from him. I believe that proper communication training and better treatment of staff members is necessary at this location. Overall, this experience was very embarrassing.
What the hell is the problem with this branch? A little before, and now excessively since the reno, it's 50/50 what your coffee or meal is going to taste like. Blah!! The world sucks enough. Can't we get a decent cup of coffee anymore? This afternoon I purchased a cup of mud apparently, as it tasted like the coffee filters have not being changed over. Done wasting money at this location, no more.
