It was always a good value — 3 rolls for something like $10 — and I trust it more than some other sushi places nearby. I've never been here for a meal other than lunch so I can't speak to some of the specialty rolls they offer for dinner, but the lunch specials were always great. This place has superb service AND delicious Japanese food! Due to covid, niji is only accepting take out orders that you order online through their website. This wonderful hostess, server, waitress, hard working lady acknowledged her customers in 34 degree weather with an outdoor table set up for the orders. I’ve always loved Niji. Ordered there several times a month. Lately it has not met expectations. The past few times it has been missing essentials (soy sauce, chopsticks, etc. . Usually that’s fine because we normally have some on hand. But when I pay $100+ for dinner, I expect it to come with all the essentials. Missing the soy sauce today and didn’t have any in the house. I have eaten mostly the Lunch Bento and both the chicken teriyaki and the pork katsu were delicious. I only eat cooked or vegetarian sushi rolls. However, the sashimi and raw sushi looks fresh. Friendly staff.
UPDATE 5 years later and still going. Treated like family. Food is always great. Only place I go for sushi The staff are so nice. Highly recommended!!!
