Toni's Italian - Olathe

We wanted Italian and have driven by Toni's a bunch so we finally stopped by. Since amount of seating and the service was beyond amazing. Our orders came out amazingly fast and the portions are HUGE. You get what you pay for and the food some unbelievable. If you want good Italian food, skip the chain restaurants and come by Toni's. You will not be disappointed.

As we ventured through Olathe, KS we got hungry for Italian. Honey found this little non descript Italian restaurant, even the interior did not really wow us. The smells from the kitchen and the host who had an almost faint Italian accent were too inviting for us to leave. We were not disappointed. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip. We have never had artichoke dip with such tender artichokes. They practically melted in your mouth. When it was served, it was still piping hot, not simply spooned into a dish for serving. The bread was fresh, hot and so very good. For the main course we shared the Chef's Special (tortellini with shrimp, chicken and capers in a creamy alfredo cheese sauce). Absolutely delicious! We had to try their tiramisu for desert. Another successful dish, so light, it has to be one of the best Tiramisu's we've had. For a restaurant that lacks in decor screams fine freshly prepared Italian food. If you are hankering for great tasting freshly prepared food, it is definitely worth the trip. Food and service is clearly the focus!

Excellent service from the manager and his family. They really seem to take their business seriously and work very hard. I picked up a pizza to go tonite. It was fabulous. The sauce was wonderful, the mozzarella cheese tasted homemade and the topping were delicious. Very good pizza. I'll definitely be a regular here now. So impressed with the owners kindness and work ethic. Can't wait't to go back and try the pasta!

The food was excellent, and the portions are huge. Come hungry, or bring a friend that likes to split meals. Prices were reasonable. I would have given 5 stars but that is for perfection. So 5 stars on food, 4 stars on service. The server was friendly, but seemed new and couldn’t really answer all of our menu questions; it was our first visit so we needed a little help with sone of the menu items. There was also an appetizer item we ordered but did not get, nor were we charged ; again think this was just a newer server. We will definitely return and recommend to others.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options which is great for our son

Don't waste your time. Six of us for dinner. One order was misplaced and arrived thirty minutes after the others! Appetizer Spinach Artichoke Dip was very runny and came with no crackers or toast. When we asked for some, our terrible waitress, A., said that the bread we had on the table when we sat down was supposed to go with it! What? Dinners were not good and our service was terrible. Will not go again. Waste of money and time.
