Contribuisci feedbackIt actually breaks my heart to be writing this review but people need to know. 8 years ago I wrote that this place was the best and when I moved I dreamed of this place. The pizza was good. 8 years ago. They fell off. I came back again to visit my old stomping grounds and this pizza place but they refused to serve my mother because she has a service dog, trained and labeled as such (vest and on his leash). This is highly illegal, not to mention discriminatory. He just kept saying that he didn’t care it was a service dog, it was just a dog and thats his rule ‘cuz it’s his restaurant. Maybe it’s different in Italy, but here where you’re located, it’s extremely illegal. Not to mention, I had a wait a long time for the actual cheese pizza which was mid when I got it. How are you out of cheese pizza at 2pm with no one around? Waitress touched my money and then the pizza barehanded without washing first. Gotta love the lack of sanitation standards here. The old owner was amazing. He was so kind and made great food. This new guy is way out of his scope. Charging people too much, being extremely rude, breaking so many laws, and discriminating. Get him out of here or renapoli will fall to crumbles.
Always enjoy coming back- small place with amazing food and
The cashiers touch money and credit cards and they touch pizza with their bare hands. This should not be allowed. It is highly unsanitary.
Small pizzeria/restaurant on Sound Beach Ave. No neon lights. Easy to miss. One night I didn't feel like driving home and cooking, and wasn't dressed for fancy.Simple, clean with4 or5 booths for seating. Looks to be family owned and run. Very nice staff. Menu covered all the Italian favorites and some. Each time we go back we try a different dish and pizza. So far everything we've tried was really very well prepared, better than some more expensive Italian restaurants we've gone to.Their chefs know how Italian food is supposed to be prepared and taste, from the pizza crust to the different sauces on the dinners. The Bronx pizza and Chicken Franchese are two favorites. After your done eating, you be pleasantly surprised by the bill. Re Napoli earns a high place on our restaurant list.
My pizza was AMAZING: I just happened to stop while traveling and entered the small restaurant. I was giving a talk at a bookstore nearby so I needed time to sit and get my notes together--and I was THRILLED by the quality of the food (I had a small white-anchovy pizza) and the charm of the service. I was the only patron in the place, but they were doing a brisk take-out service. Clearly everybody who lives near this place loves it. I would absolutely eat here every week if I lived nearby and I am putting in on list of must-go-again places for when I travel.
