Here for lunch on someone's recommendation. Sure. Very good mussels and local shrimps. The ambience is nothing special, type of 70's diner, but the food was good and cheap, which more than I can say, for the more popular place closer to the pier we ate last night. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere in this family-run and operated restaurant is beneficial for discussions, also between different parties. We met some people from D.C. on their first visit to New England. We visit OOB every summer and have tried a variety of places. This is now becoming one of our regular stops. I'm looking forward to her breakfast.
I wish I had taken a photo because breakfast was excellent! I had a sausage and cheese omelet with domestic frits, my wife had a ham and cheese omelet and the kids had both pancake breakfast. You go in, order at the counter, and they'll take your food to a collection container. I really liked how it worked. Not to mention the waitresses were all very polite, happy and attentive. Prices were particularly appropriate in view of the area. I want to go back for at least another breakfast. But hopefully a dinner. Thanks Venetias Restaurant!
Adorable restaurant, very friendly staff, delicious food served in a timely way. No table service, but taking out the process of ordering, there was very efficient. Would definitely recommend and will definitely eat there again!
On our last night in OOB we came across this family owned business and what a GEM it was we could see why it’s been around for 50 years. The food was delicious, excellent service, the Great location near the beach with parking included. Our waitress was a young girl and she made sure we were taken care of. We highly recommend it.
