Sip Wine - Old Saybrook

My girlfriends and I booked a weekend stay at the Saybrook Point and were looking for a cool local spot. We came across Sip Wine Bar (about a mile from the resort) and it was incredible!!! Amazing service, great chill atmosphere best charcuterie board we’ve ever had. Owner Derek is so personable and nice! We had the best time. Will absolutely come back! 100% recommend.

Great little wine bar in Old Saybrook. Nice selection of wines and small apps (little pricey). My only real complaint is that the AC is always too cold on both occasions. Staff is very attentive.

Happened upon this spot randomly when enjoying the town during my husband and my anniversary. It was a Friday afternoon and it was a great quiet spot to sip some lovely wine and enjoy a yummy charcuterie board. The owner of course really knows his stuff and had great suggestions for our flight. It's a beautiful spot with awesome music, service, food and wine! We will be back.

This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I stopped for wine and apps for our anniversary. We chatted with the owner Derrik, and our server, Steve. They were very friendly and helpful. We told Steve which types of wines we like, and he put together flights for us, which were perfect. The cheeses there was amazing as well. I highly recommend the Delice de Bourgogne cheese that's nice and creamy. I really loved the little fruit crackers they came with. Can't wait to go back.

We visited Sip on one of our nights on a girls’ weekend trip. Our waitress, Christina, was so incredibly helpful and friendly. We ordered a flight of wine, cheese, and charcuterie. Christina helped us choose a wine we’d never had and guided us through our cheese thought process. Everything was perfect! We spent a few hours drinking and snacking, never feeling rushed. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we’re only sad that we don’t live here so we come back all the time. But, next time we’re in Saybrook we will be visiting again!
