Wobken - Oldenburg

For the second time in the Wöbken, with three other people. The greeting was friendly, although it took a while until the waitress came back to take our food orders. Last time I was here (2 1/2 years ago they had no veggie dishes... on the lunch menu, this time I asked again, and the waitress brought me a special vegetarian menu with four dishes (it was written that this menu is under construction. It is a bit strange to see veggie dishes treated like this (why not contain them in the main menu and I have never seen a restaurant with a separate veggie menu as these people will only see this choice when they ask. Anyway, all enjoyed their dishes and we had a nice stay. Prices may appear high, but it is more likely that the price range between the dishes is high: My stuffed peppers were 11,50 euros, but every meat dish was between 17 21.50 euros (what I think is good, as I think that meat

We recently visited the Woebken restaurant and had a fantastic German meal. Order lunch comes with a soup and dessert, and prices are reasonable. The wobkens tend to regional and seasonal dishes, and it was Chanterelle fungal season, so most of the entrees came with. Dessert...was simple but good vanilla ice cream with red grotto or a red berry sauce. Portions are large and the service was good. The prices were reasonable.

If you really want to try the German cuisine and experience hospitality best. This is just the place to go. Focused on local ingredients with seasonal availability. Prepared with heart and professionalism.

Unbelievable, cabaret on 18.03.2017, we were on the final ball of a school class, only teens. music only for the young folk, we older were not respected despite asking to the staff and the disko heini. Moreover, the type frech .leider was therefore we had to leave the localities at 23:00 clock, we were disappointed and sour pity, otherwise top local, delicious eating, faster service.
