When I got home, I was disappointed to find that the naan bread was the size of a standard supermarket Pataks one. The plus side was that the tikka was very thick, but it didn't make up for the small bread size. I also asked for hot sauce, but was disappointed to find that they had given me a tub of mint sauce and a side salad in a plastic bag. I feel ripped off at the price of £5.95 and now have to make my own dinner. Getting takeaway is a treat for me, so having to cook my own food after a takeaway is a first and I feel like a joke.
I ordered a curry and a starter and it was not fresh at all. The rice tasted like it had been reheated in the microwave and the meat was extremely tough. After spending £35, I experienced stomach pains all night and the following day. I will be contacting trading standards. Additionally, the salad was a brownish color. I am shocked that they are allowed to sell such low-quality food. I will never order from this restaurant again. I would not even give it 1 star, in fact, I would describe it in one word..... DISGUSTING.
The portion sizes are generous and the food is consistently perfect every time. I have been ordering from this restaurant for more than 20 years and have never had a negative experience.
They never fail Chicken tikka ,,brilliant ,ive tried many other meals and all as good wouldnt go anywhere else
We ordered a large mixed kebab and there wasn't any kebab meat, we phoned to complain and they said we don't do kebab meat although they advertised it on their website, it was very small and definitely not worth the money. The chicken was really dry, the best place for it was in the bin. We was shocked to discover the delivey charge was £4 which is extortionate given the distance. Would not recommend, please don't waste your money
