Cambridge Cottages - Olinda

The hosts put a lot of thought into ensuring their guests have a magical experience. The two Cambridge Huts are a hidden gem located in the beautiful Olinda. We have stayed there multiple times because we love it so much! The atmosphere is relaxing, the decor is beautiful, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious. The beds are comfortable, and the spa bath is fantastic. We highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway!

However, I was quite disappointed with one aspect of our experience. Just a few minutes before check-out (we had about 15 minutes left), while we were still packing up our belongings, a staff member entered the cottage and started cleaning. This left us feeling uncomfortable and disrespected, prompting us to reconsider whether we would return or recommend this place to others. I suggest that when guests are checking out, staff should wait until the guests have had the chance to gather their belongings, lock the door, and take the key to ensure privacy.

From the moment we stepped through the door, there was something magical about this place, a blend of warmth and countless special touches. You can truly tell that this is a labor of love, with every detail thoughtfully considered. We will definitely return and stay longer next time. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay in the gorgeous Currawong Cottage. From the first step in the door on a cold winters day we were met with calming music and a beautiful warm fire, the breakfast left for us was perfect for a hearty morning cook up and the bed superb.
