The food and service were both excellent. I only rated the atmosphere two stars because the place was dirty. Food: 5/5.

I recently visited Waffle House on Hacks Cross around 5:30 am. The waiter informed me that I could only dine in, not take my order to go. So, I agreed to dine in. He took my order and warned me that if I decided to take it to go, there would be an additional charge. Another employee chimed in, stating that I had to eat most of my food there and couldn't take it to go. They ultimately refused to serve me and suggested I drive to another Waffle House. Despite there being only two other customers in the restaurant, the entire place was dirty and none of the tables were clean. It was baffling how they insisted on dining in but didn't bother to clean or provide a clean table. The whole situation was completely absurd and unlike anything I have ever experienced.

The waiter was very racist towards my friends and me, and I find it unacceptable. Every customer should be treated with respect and kindness, but that was not the case here. I will definitely be patronizing a different establishment in the future.
