Wow! My husband and I came to Carter Caves to celebrate our 22nd anniversary. We wanted Italian and found Tre Fratelli using google. We had no idea it was right by the park entrance! My husband got the Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, which he said was the best he’d ever had. I had a calzone and tiramisu. Both were amazing. We loved it so much, we decided to eat dinner at Tre Fratelli again the next night. We really wanted to try the Sicilian pizza, which takes about 45 minutes. We also had antipasto salad to goWith it. Hands down, best meal ever. This pizza alone is worth the visit. NotTo mention the amazing customer service! I cannot recommend this place enough.FYI: Pandemic info- you can call ahead and order or just pull into the parking lot. They will bring a menu right out to you!!Update 4/10/2022: my husband and I came back to Carter Caves to celebrate his birthday. And we could not wait to eat dinner at Tre Fratelli. It did not disappoint. I’m serious-the Sicilian Pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. And the antipasto salad is amazing. Everything is so fresh. This is hands down the best Italian food in Kentucky. The food combined with the amazing service can’t be beat.
My husband and I were visiting the area and staying at the local state park. We needed to find a place to eat for dinner and we were hopeful after reading all of the reviews. It did not disappoint! While the decor is what it is, this is a little gem hidden in the rough. We had the sweetest young man taking our order and the food arrived quickly and was delicious. We both had the cheese bread, baked ziti, he had meatballs, and cheesecake. Wonderful food and they have the friendliest staff!! If we're ever back in this area, we'll be back for sure. We'll get the word out when we get back home to visit this place.
The pizzas are delicious. Baked ziti is great. Call before going. Even though the sign on their site says open, they might not be. I would like a shaker of Parmesan cheese and red pepper and olive oil, for dipping the bread sticks. The baked tomato is a bit on the pricey side.
Some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten. The Catalina Florentine was insanely good, the sauce was out of this world delicious. The chocolate peanut cake and the lemon cake were dreamy. The pizza was awesome. The service was great and the owner was beyond sweet and kind. We can't wait to go back!
