The Kickin' Crab - Olivette

I’ve been visiting kickin crab for over the past years and today their worker was very rude and making faces while taking my food order and i let her know that’s not how you treat a customer she told the manager he asked me to leave ! They are very rude he said he took her side because she was a supervisor! I will never support them ever in life ! They don’t respect black people ! I also placed a order before coming and she didn’t put it in !

Excellent wait staff and the food is delicious. Kickin it at Kickin'Crab was great,!

The only reason I’m writing this is because I saw a review from who I’m guessing was the same lady from yesterday. I don’t like when people lie or don’t say the full story to benefit themselves. I was at this restaurant with my husband and son. We noticed a lady with kids at a nearby table who seemed unhappy with the same server we had. The lady and her kids stared at the server in a mean way while she was getting them drinks. After she left they they were mocking her. She then yelled at the server when she came back, causing a scene. The server looked confused, scared, and about to cry. The lady even yelled at the manager and called him a “B ” among other profanities. Thankfully, the manager and another server stood up to the rude lady and asked her to leave. It was scary because she was cursing in front of her own kids and I thought she was about to hurt somebody by the way she was acting. I don’t know if the workers probably deal with this kind of behavior often but they seemed very calm. I hope they stay safe. So, beware of people like this, if you decide to eat at this place, especially if you have kids with you. Despite this, the service was great. I checked on the server, Ana, and she said she was okay. She did a great job!

The food upset my stomach and ghe owner yelled at me and my mother for being unprofessional and setting our check down and going to eat without letting us know we had a new server.

Dropped in looking for a bite, was intrigued by the cajun option. Unexpectedly delightful! Great table service at this location which seems to be family-owned. We didn’t get crab or lobster, but the gumbo and seafood alfredo were great! Note: Dishes do run a bit spicy, even if you request mild.
