When she heard that it was sandwich that I was looking for lunch, she offered that most sandwich items on her menu (original range at 25-35 Sol) are available at 15 Sol including standard drink. But I was only interested in Club Sandwich (40sol) she said she could not reduce this price. But when she saw us leave, she said she could reduce up to 20 sol including drinks. When I made the order, the waiter said again impossible to offer 20 Sol, so I asked him to look for the seller, the salesman asked me if I could change my order to Burger so that they could get the 20 Sol offer. I refused and went, then they agreed they could make it. In the end, they served me a burger and announced this a club sandwich when they brought it to the table. Picture attached. That was creepy. When the bill came, they charge 5 Sol per person as a service fee, or 20% of lunch costs. This is the first time I got this charge in Peru. In short, don't go. Many other nicer restaurants offer tourists 3-couse prefix menu on 20 Sol. Go to these places instead.
We had pizza here so called pizza it was inedible revolting. The cheese was off and the dough base was some find of deep fried pastry. The most annoying thing was the bill this added 10% for using a credit card (not advertised) and 15% on top of everything for service which was non existent. I ordered a spanish omelet (vegetarian ingrediants) and it came with ham there was no apology no chance of having an omelet made according to the picture. Do NOT eat here
Invited in off the street, offered 3 drinks for price of one. When bill came not only were we charged full price for all 3 drinks, they had also added a service and tip amount to the bill, we were a party of 3. They were not willing to adjust price, basically ignored us when we questioned this. Interesting to read posts from other people who had similar experiences. I see a pattern.....
