Food was fine, nothing special. We ordered 2 tourist menus (each 15), a lemonade and a coke. What a surprise when the check arrived, and instead of 47 soles we were asked to pay 62 Soles (47 15 for additional fees). When we asked the waitress what these 15 additional soles were for, they told us that there were taxes and the service fee, and that the fees that were common in Peru. I have been in Peru for more than a week, have eaten twice a day, and this is the first time that these fees were not included in the advertised price. After a few minutes, the waitress will deny us 5 Soles less. Then I spoke to the manager who apologized and gave us the missing 10 Soles. I'm Latina and my mother tongue is Spanish, but I look European. I guess the waitress thought I was a Gringa and she could benefit from it.
They offer you a tourist menu for a price, but if you get the check, there are additional fees. The food is okay.
