We grabbed a few drinks here after completing the 4-day Inka Trail. Our waiter was very friendly and spoke excellent English. They let us sit in a table on second floor overlooking plaza and fountain. Across the way the church bells rang as a service let out. The cocktails were excellent! I would go back for that. We had both traditional pisco sour and one our waiter told us was their specialty, passion fruit. I also had a snack of fried plantain chips. I asked if anything came with it and the waiter made sure there was some guacamole. Our waiter gave us the happy hour price which I saw advertised outside but still told us the full price - I'm pretty sure he wanted a tip but I was ok with that because he was so friendly and helpful. It was just what I needed to celebrate!
The plate I selected it was supposed to have tuna on top mixed with a ton of onions and tomatoes but I couldn't find it. No tasty at all. The service was proper but not what is expected.
This little place was a highlight for our time in Machu Picchu. We sat on the top floor balcony and enjoyed the beautiful parade and festivities. Ernesto was our waiter and he was awesome, he was very friendly and attentive to our group.
