The presentation is always great. The team is so welcoming and the atmosphere lets you come back. You can call before booking to know the dishes of the day in advance. They also offer good local wines. I really recommend it.
We arrived at this charming café on Saturday. It was busy, but the service was excellent, friendly and prompt. There is only one main course for lunch, but these changes daily. Today 's 'Plat du jour ' was Filet mignon served with a baked plate of sliced potatoes and a fresh green salad with a thyme sauce. Everything was cooked for perfection. For the desert my husband chose fresh rhubarb tart with cream made at home and very good. I chose the orange coin 'tart' served in a glass. That was something else. One of the most beautiful sweets I tasted. The orange Custard was absolutely wonderful. We finished with a tea and a cappuccino, and two Limoncellos offered by the female cartridge. The bill was a nice surprise: 44 euros including a small Pichet rose wine. This place is worth a return trip.
We stayed at Café Le France for a small stop in the afternoon. We had a perfect small café Gourmand and a café with salad of fruit. Everything, even the Macaron and the financier, was fresh and homemade by the very beautiful owner of the café! The service was excellent! It is a pity that she has to close Café 18h to bake new Mascarons, Financiers and other Gourmandises. I guess the main dishes written on the board are as good as our sweet little afternoon snack. The atmosphere and interior was very comfortable.
