Carmen's Italian Ice - Olney

I love custard not just regular soft serve ice cream. They have gellati and Italian ice. A wide variety of flavors and creations.

Making the mocha in Olney can be a bit tricky since we use a manual espresso press there, unlike the machine we have in Rockville. We've also faced some scheduling issues, but I understand that this shouldn't affect our service to customers. We typically visit on weekends in the evening, and it happens every time we order the mocha. The last time we were there, a young employee even laughed and said, "we're not making shakes." I absolutely adore Carmen's! As a long-time fan of chocolate vanilla swirl, I find their frozen custard to be incredibly delicious, featuring a rich and creamy texture that's simply irresistible. What really stands out is the extensive variety of Italian ice flavors they offer, showing their commitment to catering to every taste. Plus, the staff is always eager to provide samples, allowing you to explore the different flavors—it's a commendable effort that shows they genuinely care about helping you find your ideal match. Personally, I can't get enough of their frozen custard, but I appreciate that there’s something for everyone. In addition to the delightful treats, the location near a park makes it the perfect spot to enjoy your dessert. The park adds an extra touch, creating a relaxing atmosphere to savor every bite. I give it five stars for the fantastic frozen treats and the impressive selection!

I happened across this sweet Italian Ice stand after a long, hot day at the Sandy Spring Adventure Park! What a refreshing end to a hard athletic day. The many many flavors were hard to choose from but I went with something unusual: Spicy Mango, with a cool Coconut compliment.! It was just what the endorphins ordered! But more importantly, the Staff was so friendly and helpful and when I asked for a sample, they were gracious! I can't wait to recommend Carmine Italian Ice, in Olney MD, and can't wait to come back... and even though I'm more than an hour and a half away, I'll be back!

Wow! I've never had ice cream this amazing before! It's truly unbelievable! Plus, they offer vegan options. Fantastic!
