We decided to walk along the waterfront and then go to this restaurant, as it was highly rated. The food was delicious and the staffing was quick and accommodating. They sat our 2 dogs with us on the patio and in a shaded area, as it was 90゚during our visit. I had the dungeoness crab eggs benedict for breakfast, and it was delicious. I would definitely go back again.
To start with the highlights, my husband and I went there for dinner this evening and had a terrific server, Kimberly, who was very friendly and attentive. We always enjoy the view of the marina whether you dine inside or outside, and it's been clean whenever we've eaten there. We've been there during lunch and dinner on weekdays and on busy weekends. There's a decent selection of meat and seafood prepared pretty simply, with standard sides. This time we ordered a steak with green beans and a baked potato and a plate of grilled cod fish tacos and fries. The steak and sides were flavorful and cooked well for a flat top steak, but there were a couple things that would have improved the tacos. Firstly, they were served with the sauce and pico de gallo underneath the fish, which I've never seen anywhere else. This made the flour tortillas soggy. The tacos were also sat on top of the fries, which then made the fries soggy right away. Flavor wise, we were satisfied with our orders, and a few easy changes would have made the tacos and fries a lot better. The food is familiar and reliable but not exciting, which is just fine if that's what you're looking for.
We like coming here! My husband brought me for my birthday recently and we got the crab boil for 2. The portion was pretty generous, and oh boy was it amazing! I love how they elevated the flavors a bit and added scallops to the sauce. We also had the beer tasting paired with oysters which was delightful. I can't wait for another opportunity to go back! Their food is amazing, and the waitress really did a great job explaining the menu and recommendations.
Great clam chowder and mussels. Shrimp for lunch was pretty darn good too. Nice views of bay and a hop away from the hands on children’s museum if you are there.
We took my mom to the breakfast. the menu was great, we felt good prcies. they had difficulty getting our order right, but it immediately fixed. we all enjoyed our eating bisquits gravy, sailor to bord (hungrig and marinated flank steak eggs . we come back! highly recommend the place...Overnight parking can be a problem NOT here!
