Trader Joe's - Olympia

I LOVE TJ's. Their vegan cream cheese is VERY good. They carry a good variety of vegan foods, that are usually labeled vegan. Check the ingredients list! I go here every week to get my basics they offers lots of veggies that are good quality and lot of nuts and dried fruit. The staff is ALWAYS great! As far as I can tell there are only 2 wraps they sell that are vegan but they are good. Wish they had more to go vegan food.

It seems that shopping at Trader Joe's is a point of pride for those living in West Washington. Don’t get me wrong; larger grocery chains have a variety of vegan products. However, I sometimes feel that the prices at Trader Joe's are a bit high compared to stores like Fred Meyer and Haggen, which source the same items from the same suppliers for a slightly lower price. One aspect that deters me is that the vegan products at Trader Joe's can be scattered throughout the store, making them harder to find. In contrast, other shops typically keep their vegan items in a specific section, which makes it more convenient for customers. The selection of products is well-organized. While they don't have the best apples, it’s unfortunate, they do offer a lovely variety of salads. The cereal section is extensive, and it’s my favorite part! They also have a beautiful area dedicated to nuts and dried fruits. Additionally, the pasta section is budget-friendly, making it affordable for everyone.

I really enjoy shopping here. Their frozen vegetable mixes are excellent, and they have great deals on frozen fruits. Many of the staff members are very friendly, and you can even grab a small cup of coffee while you shop. They offer delicious samples of various products, and there are good deals on drinks as well. I particularly appreciate the option to buy certain fruits and vegetables by the piece, which is perfect for singles. However, my only complaint is the excessive packaging on many of the produce items, and they've had some issues with their seafood selection.
