Nosh Restaurant and Wine Lounge - Omaha

It was disappointed by the quality of food. expected much better.

Eating was fabulous and drinks were also. the personal is always pleasant and we enjoy nosh.

When we arrived, it took at least 5 minutes to get someone to the front. I could see some of their employees in the back room with beverage folding napkins. none of them came up when they saw us standing there. Instead, they went to the kitchen. When we finally got fed up, we asked ourselves to sit on an empty table next to the one she told us to sit so that we could watch the basketball game, no was said. When she brought our water, she spilled it on me. She didn't even know she spilled it until I reacted. has not taken care of bringing serviettes to dry me. if they cannot carry that many waters get a tablet! we ordered dessert grapes. they tasted like freeze-charred macaroon cheesecakes. a glass of wine ordered. the glass still had the last customers lipstick marks on it. When I asked for a clean glass, the waitress said they mean to the water stain? I mean for the lipsticks that are still on the glass. not your best show! we often nosh, as it usually top notch. very disappointed by our visit.

Was pleasantly surprised with the food- genuinely thought it was excellent, butter than I expected. Had steak medallions with grains and the seasoning was unique and excellent. Drinks were good, but genuinely over-priced although not unexpected for location. Our service was a little sub-par, not the fault of our server though who was running around trying to do a lot it appeared. Would have drank more if offered, but went long periods of time without seeing her. Again, she was nice when we saw her, just didn’t see her much.

Took my husband here for his birthday, food and service were great. Wine selection was extensive and we had a great time!
