This is one of my favorite places to eat. It has a family-friendly atmosphere, and the staff is fantastic.

This is a wonderful family-owned restaurant. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. They care deeply about the community and actively support local schools. Truly good people!

From the pictures, you can see that the menu offers a unique variety of choices, ranging from barbecue and catfish to chicken-fried steaks, sandwiches, and more. I learned from chatting with the staff and owner that the menu changes periodically, so there’s always something new to try. After some deliberation, my wife opted for the chicken-fried steak, paired with mashed potatoes and baked beans. I chose the large order of catfish, which came with three sides: French fries, baked beans, and fried okra. I was unsure about the portion sizes, but what we received definitely exceeded my expectations. The chicken-fried steak was massive, and according to my wife, it had an excellent flavor. As for my catfish, I was thinking I would get around three or four pieces, but I was pleasantly surprised to find closer to seven on my plate. Many places serve catfish that’s heavily battered with little flavor, but mine had a crispy coating and was seasoned perfectly. The homemade mashed potatoes on both plates were quite good, and the baked beans had a hint of sweetness—likely from a touch of brown sugar, but not too overpowering. The okra was fresh and perfectly breaded; I almost finished it all before touching the rest of my meal. This restaurant also offers a selection of homemade fried pies. My wife tried the pecan fried pie and described it as divine. They’re not huge and a bit pricey, but the quality makes it worth it. The ambiance is reminiscent of an old-school mom-and-pop restaurant, complete with wood paneling and classic seating, creating a rustic atmosphere. However, the delightful and delicious food truly takes center stage here. I always like to support local eateries, and I’m definitely planning to return to this one. I highly encourage you to give it a try!

Fish was good. but as mc ds they have made my order wrong. I don't know. he has 2 hush puppies with an 8 piece fish dinner. every puppy was not much bigger than a frey. When I asked what the pages were, I was told that they were on board.

The house-made BBQ, burgers, King Ranch chicken, and more are absolutely delicious. The owners and staff are among the friendliest people you will ever meet.
