Which is sad really. Steaks were fantastic as usual. If you're looking fora great steak, you can't go wrong with the Drover!
Came here specifically to try the whiskey marinated steak; and although prime rib is not my personal favorite cut this order was a fantastic piece of meat. The seasoning to match the marinade was on point. I had the asparagus salad bar, and enjoyed anice Hefeweizen with the meal. The ambiance is real cool, and the staff was very laid back and friendly.
9/9 Went to the Drover last night for a anniversary. The food and food was great. The chairs were hard to sit in and by the food came out my body was aching terrible. Finally asked for another type chair and they gave me a softer chair and we finished ourmeal. The lighting was so low I couldn?t read the menu.
This was my second time heading to the Drover. The first time was amazing but this was before the pandemic. Like before, I ordered the whiskey marinated ribeye With perfect grill marks. It was very tasty however there were some parts where the texturetasted a bit off. Maybe it was just an off day. The service was nice how ever they weren?t super attentive and we were waitingfor a check for a while. It wouldn?t have been such an issue had we not had somewhere else to be right after. I would still goback.
Excellent food and good atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the items they serve. The Tomohawk Steak was an awesome special. Well worth it I would think.
