We tried ham and chrese croissant and a chicken pie from the hot cabinet, both were pretty good. Prices comparable to every other place in this area and a good pit stop on your road trip. Plenty of parking and clean toilet facilities. Petrol pumps in the adjacent premises.
As a midway stop for a trip, the guide recommended us to grab a pie for the breakfast. A creamy chicken pie was my choice for the breakfast. This pie was absolutely delicious and the stuffing was plentiful that would make you full. The creamy sauce had a rich flavour of milk and butter. The mocha was rich in flavour and you can feel that the shopkeepers made it attentively.
You definitely need to reserve time enjoying the meal for here. It’s AWESOME place! Great sandwich. But coffee full of bubbles in large size.
This restaurant is a great stop for a meal! We tried the all day breakfast and found the food to be flavorful but just okay. The sausage was a bit tough to chew, but the hashbrown was delicious. The staff was very friendly as well. While nothing extraordinary, it's a satisfying meal that will leave you full.
The name 'Omarama' in Maori translates to 'expansive land of the moon,' with 'O' meaning place and 'marama' meaning moon. This charming town is often referred to as the 'Moon Land.' Located on the route from Mt Cook to Queenstown or Lake Wanaka, Omarama has several nice cafes, including the lesser-known yet Instagram-famous spot, Hot Tubs Omarama. One dish worth trying is the Wrinkly Rams Omelette, which has a scrambled egg-like texture and delicious goat cheese. The café has a cozy fireplace and the coffee is enjoyable. Next door, you'll find a souvenir shop where you can purchase some items.
