Gino's Chicago Beef Hot Dogs - Onalaska

Hands down the best gyro in the La Crosse area and it's not even close in my opinion. Haven't tried anything else yet because the gyro is just too good, but the rest of the food looks amazing as well. This place is legit!

Born and raised in ChiTown, always looking for good beef sandwich and Chicago hot dog. Here is the place. We use to go to Chicago's Beef Etc. and miss Ed and family then found a place called Mario's downtown had closed. Well folks they are back. Gino's had everything we loved and hit the spot. The young crew working were so nice and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the hot dog special of the day and took back with us a beef and gyro sandwich. Check them out.

It's been a while since I have come across a decent hot beef in the general area. Gino's checked all the boxes, left full and satisfied.

My husband is a Chicago boy I am a former restaurant owner. We're picky about our Italian Beef's. This is one of the best around! The fries, not as good. I don't know if it was just our batch but they were a soggy mess. Definitely not cooked long enough. We've never ordered fries from them again, but keep going back for the Italian Beef ????
