The smoothie was tasty, although it wasn't quite what we were expecting - a mix of yogurt and berries. The outdoor seating area was lovely, with some shaded spots that we appreciated, although some people were sitting in the sun. The next day, we stopped in for coffee, which is one of their specialties (although I personally found it to be a bit overrated). The service was excellent.
My wife and I have been coming to Poor Michaels for 20 years now. They have a fantastic selection of used books and records, a cafe serving whole foods, Fairtrade furniture and household items, coffee, and even beer! It's a place we absolutely love.
I was on a trip to visit my sister, she recommended a ride through the mountain park and stop her here in poor michaels. what a really wonderful place. this is a goal in its own right. everything was wonderful, the atmosphere, the...service, the latte, the quiche, through the load hiking, just relax and absorb the atmosphere. Thank you.
Amazing coffee and cute little shop to explore. Sneak on to the quiet patio and listen to the birds with an incredible cup of coffee!
We came across Poor Michael's Emporium while searching for places to eat during our stay at Riding Mountain House in Onanole. One day, we tried the vegan coconut curry soup with an iced cappuccino with almond milk, and another day we had two servings of the soup with a veggie burrito. Poor Michael's is a fantastic place to visit, offering locally made gifts, crafts, and a bookstore, as well as delicious meals. I highly recommend stopping by this charming café to give it a try.
