Sara-no-ue-no-shizen Il Gastro Sara

Delicious food. The lasagna and fresh noodles were amazing. The restaurant is beautiful with a view over Onna. Easily accessible from the 58. The price was in line with the quality and amount of food. Their house red wine was exceptional for the price. I definitely recommend!

Beautiful restaurant. It has nice views. Food is delicious, specially pasta. They open for lunch and dinner but at lunch time they offer a very convenient lunch set with appetizer, main dish, drink and dessert. Dessert is also delicious. Service is very good. At lunch time is usually quiet and you do not need to wait to get a table.

Very friendly staff who love what they do. The experience for the price is awesome for Okinawa. The food speaks for itself and unlike other pretentious French restaurants I’ve been to on this island, this food never leaves me with buyers remorse. I intended to keep this place to myself but that would make me a huge dirtbag.

We reserved a table here for our anniversary. Chef Nasu san was a passionate artist. Food prepared by him was great in terms of decoration and taste. We received great hospitality from the restaurant. Cannot describe here completely by words but definitely worth dining there

I had a wonderful 9 course meal here with my boyfriend as part of his Christmas gift for me.: il Gastro Sara does not disappoint! The restaurant takes great pride in the dishes they present and share to guests. We were blown away from start to finish. Even if you are unable to speak Japanese, they do speak some English. But when it comes to food, I believe that’s the common language we all spoke. With every sauce or texture of the food that came into my tongue, we were in amazement. The menu does change every other season and everything you see or have on the menu will change. But I assure you, you will not be disappointed. It’s a perfect spot for couples, friends, little gatherings too. We even drew some ideas and joked about having our future wedding dinner plans here. We cannot wait to come back for a visit and hungry for more!
