Second Vine Bistro - Ontario

My husband and I stopped by this bistro during a bike trip one evening, and we were thrilled with our experience! The appetizer, which featured brie, crackers, and fruit, was delicious and paired perfectly with some delightful local honey that had a wonderful aroma. Although our server was busy, they made sure we had everything we needed. We were then greeted by the owner, who was very welcoming. The bistro offers a great selection of local wines from Idaho and Oregon, as well as various beers. We enjoyed our evening on the terrace, surrounded by the soothing sound of a water fountain and the lovely scent of lavender. I'm already looking forward to returning for one of their specialty dishes. This place is truly a charming gem in downtown Ontario!

Residing in Ontario, I rarely encounter such a delightful experience. The quality of the ingredients, combined with the warmth of the owners, makes this restaurant feel like an authentic little family café from somewhere in Europe. It truly warms my heart. We enjoyed the pear and sharp cheddar flatbread pizza, as well as the brie with apples, all complemented by an excellent bottle of Cabernet. The staff was both knowledgeable and friendly throughout our visit. I eagerly anticipate the return of their special guest cooking events, which are a wonderful addition to Ontario, and I hope they continue to thrive. Thank you for your culinary talents!

I can't say enough about this place. I walked in as a stranger and left feeling like part of a family. They treated my husband, granddaughter, and me with such warmth. The food was outstanding. We just moved here, and I can already tell this will be one of our new favorite spots! Thank you for the wonderful welcome!
