I can literally eat there three times a day , EVERYDAY that they are open not get tired of them . They are the absolute best

Every time I go I have the oxtails and rice with extra gravy and Mac and cheese. The sweet potato soufflé is delicious as well. If you are looking from great food give them a try.

Definitely worth trying. We tried it for the first time today and had the collards, rice and peas, and j chicken. It came with a plantain and cornbread. Everything was very good and the price was quite reasonable. I've eaten at several Caribbean restaurants before and the j chicken wasn't as hot as some places which is probably a good thing for most people but it had a really nice flavor and came with some sauce in case you wanted to heat it up even more. The service was fine too and we will definitely go back. It's nice to have a good Caribbean place in the Auburn/Opelika are. Other items they had at lunch when we were there included, cabbage, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, chicken curry, goat curry, and ox tail soup. It all looked very good.

Homegirls' Jamaican Grill is a hidden gem. I happened to be in the area and was very hungry so I decided to try the only Jamaican spot I've ever seen in the Auburn-Opelika area. I was not let down. The venue is spacious and very colorful. They did not have a huge menu, but the food that they did make was pretty good. The prices are comparable to other places in the area. I had the j chicken, which was well seasoned and not dry at all. For sides; I had a plantain which was not fried hard (my preference), Mac and cheese that was tangy and had different seasoning than traditional southern Mac and cheese, and rice and peas with oxtail gravy on top that was really good. They gave me 2 small cups of what I presume to be j sauce. The sauce was good, not spicy like I'm used to, but enhanced the flavor of the rice and chicken. Ultimately I gave this grill 3 stars because the food was good, it was a reasonable price, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. I had to take off 2 stars because it is very out of the way and I would've never known it existed if I hadn't been over there. Also, the sides could be improved a bit to match the quality of their meat.

Not a bad place to get a bite to eat. The pricing is a little too high for my taste but clean dinning room.
