Mk's Asian Kitchen - Opelika

This is our new go-to for Asian in A/O area. Incredibly delicious.¹

This place was just want my fiancé and I needed. We ordered the steamed chicken dumplings, egg rolls and Mongolian chicken and it was just tjr right balance of flavors. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Auburn.

Ms. Shy is always so nice and welcoming. I still can't believe she remembers me and my order everytime. The food is always good and fresh. The place is also very clean. The best place to go and get Asian food in the area in my opinion.

Incredibly friendly and nice staff very sweet and unique place to eat. They made our food to perfection with all of the special things we asked for. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want respectable service.

I’ve been here a couple times in the past and the food has been decent enough to go back. I placed a to go order and was told, we’re pretty busy, it’s going to be 35 minutes. No big deal right? At the 40 minute mark I walked in and was told by the owner to have a seat. As I sat there, I watched this pattern occur 5 more times as to go orders walked in to pick up their food. After an additional 20 minutes of waiting, I was frustrated and asked the owner if she even started my order and she said no. So I left without food. It was was a complete waste of time. She didn’t even apologize. My guess is she’s been burned in the past with people placing orders and not picking them up. She doesn’t start your food until you physically walk in and let her know you are there to pick up the order which defeats the entire purpose of calling in a to go order.
