The Palace Cafe - Opelousas

Such a great experience! Our server Alyssa was so friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! We had the fried catfish dinner with fried catfish, mashed potatoes, green beans and a dinner roll and the fried chicken cordon bleu sandwich with fries. I've never had fried catfish nearly this good EVER and the fried chicken cordon bleu sandwich was jam packed with so much flavor! We also had the St. Charles white chocolate latte which was also super amazing!! The atmosphere of this fine establishment was very relaxing and reminded us of New Orleans so much. We only wish that we could give more than five stars! Will be returning soon! Also the little mason jars for the drink glasses were so adorable!!! Thanks for the great food and wonderful experience!

Excellent place for breakfast. Service and food couldn?t get any better! Well priced too.

Stopped in to eat at a cute looking establishment , however after sitting patiently for 5 to 10 minutes NOT being addressed by any of the 4 waitresses that were serving tables. During this time 3 other couples came in were greeted and given menus The waitresses walked within 5 ft of us and never addressed us once . If you are a visitor to the area DO NOT STOP if they don?t know you you?re not welcome . Drove 20 miles to Eunice nicer people .

Nice ending to a long ordeal. Great food from a great staff. Salads are big enough for 2. Gumbo is a treat.

I work in Opelousas, so lunch should be easy and great. They forgot my fish and my drink. But got charged for both. I tried calling but no one ever picked up the phone. The rice was hard and honestly the only amazing thing was the potato side. Kind of disappointing
