New Mediterraneo - Orachha

This restaurant was recommended to us by our holiday guide. As delicate Europeans we needed to be especially careful about hygiene. We needn't have worried as the four of us were fine. The food was prepared to our taste (we all had local dishes) and...was delicious. Also it was great value for money. We were so impressed, we ate there again on our second night. The staff were delightful and the service was efficient.

I couldn't find the restaurant during this time of year, but I decided to go there with my children. It's best to get there early as most options close around 8pm, including street food stalls. There are plenty of signs along the road, but most shops are closed. Also, alcohol is prohibited within a 12km radius of the temple area in Orchha.

The restaurant doesn't even have a good view. I tried the pakodas there and there was nothing special about them. The chef could definitely use some improvement.

We went here for breakfast, lunch and dinner! We ordered pizza, fettuccine, veg thali, lassi (mango and coconut) + banana crepes... all were amazing! So delicious!The fettuccine tasted like it was homemade. We ordered crepes off of the dessert menu for breakfast (they let us with no fuss.. other restaurants wouldn't serve anything but breakfast before 9am).This restaurant was quiet with a great view and very respectful waiters.

Because read the reviews on TripAdvisor so decide to go to the Sky restaurant in Orchha but was told the owner closed the restaurant to do some more profitable business so went next door to New Mediterraneo restaurant.The waiter/ chef took our order for 2 pizzas and after 20 mins was calling the owner to order gas tank as it has run out . The pizza base was bought from the shop rather than freshly made .topping was some kind of child painting ,clearly has no idea how to arrange them and actually had the wrong pizza make for us . It was put on pan fried rather in the oven when asked .Good point the beer was chilled . Food - no .Beer - yes
