Use them to better idk when they change bakers, but the empanadas no longer taste.
I have been coming to this little hole in the wall for tamales menudo since I can remember. Located just West of the Orange Circle on Chapman Ave. past the train tracks. Closed on Mondays, and 'til 5pm during the week, but close earlier on the weekends. This is a pick up and go spot, but there is one little patio table with 2 chairs outside. All of the tamales here are the best I 've had outside my grandmothers kitchen...seriously. The menudo too...just the way we would make it at home. This is really the only place I will order multiple tamales to last me a few days. They 're thick with lots of sauced meat in the center, and totally decently priced. Lots of pan dulces desserts to pick from too. If you 've been here before, you 'll remember that it used to be a cash only establishment, but since covid, they now take cards...finally!
Excellent Tamales, best I've found around here. Not too much Masa/cornmeal. Their chicken are my favorite but my family likes the red tamales. Prices have gone up, but so has everything else.
Continue to offer excellent Mexican brot! I tried her pambasos, they were bomba it's not disappointed, nice soft brot. the next time I will try their torta de milanesa, they were sold out last wknd!
