Voyagers- Perdido Beach Resort

Voyagers was absolutely amazing. Beautiful location, friendly staff , amazing waitress (Mia) and one of the best meals I have ate. I took my wife for her birthday. They had a little happy birthday card waiting on the table. Mia greeted us and wished her a happy birthday and had great recommendations for drinks and food. To end it all we had a mind blowing dessert called Cameral corn on the cob. (Mia recommended as well) It is not what you think but was one of the most creative and tasty desserts I have ate. The cornflake crack to die for. We will be dining here every time we are in town and asking for Mia. Thanks for everything voyagers and see you all soon!

This was a 42nd anniversary celebration dinner. We were greeted warmly and seated at a window overlooking the Gulf as requested when I made the reservation. The service was wonderful and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. We were surprised with an anniversary greeting and chocolate covered strawberries. Highly recommended.

The Voyagers was excellent. We had a table with a beautiful view of the gulf. The drink menu was very extensive. Our waitress Mia was super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We had a dozen oysters bienville for our appetizer, they were decently sized oysters and we throughly enjoyed them. My wife had the chef’s special; half spiny lobster and three royal red prawns on a bed of risotto. We were both very happy with the portion and the flavor. My wife typically isn’t a fan of risotto but she ate every bite. I had the 10oz filet mignon with foie gras and lima beans. The steak and foie gras were both excellent and perfectly prepared. The lima beans, while good were not what I was expecting. They had a cream sauce with tomatoes. Our son had the chicken Alfredo from the kids menu, and let me tell you, it was a good sized portion for a kid. He was very pleased with it. For dessert we all decided to try something different. My wife went with the sweet corn caramel crunch that was recommended by our waitress Mia, it was definitely a new experience and we would order it again. My son had the pistachio cheesecake, once again, on point. I chose the peach bread pudding. I am a huge fan of bread pudding and this did not disappoint. Over all it was a fantastic experience. The noise level in the restaurant was a little loud at times, but not unreasonably so. The meal was a little pricey, but that was expected going in and I felt like it was worth it.

The food at this restaurant is superb and the service is exceptional! I have eaten here multiple times and it is the best dining spot on the beach for dinner!

This was our first time dining at Voyagers. Our server, Shay (I hope I spelled it correctly), was exceptional. Everything she recommended, from the drinks to desserts, was delicious. She was attentive not only to us, but to all the tables around us. It felt like she knew us personally. I have never written a review on OpenTable before, but I wanted to share my positive experience. I would definitely dine here again.
