Mackey's Munchies - Orange Park

Absolutely the best place for Cajun food in the sunshine state!There are so many different food options to choose from. No matter what you get, you will not be disappointed. They come in perfect portions. Do not forget to top your meal off with some of their delicious beignets.While this food is amazing, their service was even better. You most certainly will leave with a smile on your face. This place is the embodiment of souther hospitality. Definitely worth the stop.

I’ve order from here before and was impressed with the red beans and rice along with the shrimps. However, I was a little disappointed in the gumbo and my fish covered with the crawfish etouffee. The roux taste burnt and the cat fish wasn’t fresh at all. I’m Creole and know what authentic creole/Cajun food supposed to taste like and that definitely was not it. I felt that I wasted my money on my meal but until then I’ll stick to the red beans and rice.

Great atmosphere,and even better delicious food. staff was very friendly and talked us through the whole menu, because we were first timers. Definitely worth continuous trips back????

Fantastic mom pop restaurant. The portions were generous and the seasoning is on point. Very welcoming environment, great music. We had the shrimp po boy, big shrimp dinner and okra. Their in house dressing is delicious. We’re looking forward to trying their other menu items.

Finally got to try Mackey’s Munchies! Mr. Mackey… thank you for your hospitality and very inviting, very kind personality. I hope I get to catch Mrs. Mackey one day!The shrimp po boy was loaded and I got level 1 spice… even that was a good kick for me lol! Half sweet/unsweet tea was very refreshing. I will be back again for sure!
