Outback Steakhouse - Orange Park

During our last two visits to this Outback, we noticed that the salads are now similar to the pre-packaged ones you find at the grocery store. What happened to the fresh, juicy salads that were perfectly chilled, featuring generous slices of tomatoes and crunchy croutons? Additionally, the menu seems to resemble that of Chili's. One person in our group ordered a ribeye, but it arrived looking more like a flat iron or skirt steak. We were extremely disappointed.

Our son gave my husband an Outback gift card, so we decided to go there tonight. The service was outstanding, and we didn't have to wait long at all. The food was fantastic and offered at a great price. A big shoutout to the manager and the entire staff!

We decided to visit this restaurant because we had a gift card. Upon arrival, the place was quite busy. We were informed that there would be a 10-15 minute wait, but we were seated in just 3 minutes. Our waitress had a unique demeanor. She took our drink orders, and when we expressed that we were ready to place our food orders, she said she would come back later. After delivering our drinks, we didn't see her again for about 10-15 minutes before she returned to take our orders. I ordered my steak medium well, but it arrived well done. My husband ordered his medium, and it came out medium well. Additionally, we ordered a bloomin' onion, which was surprisingly small, taking up only about half the plate. Overall, the experience was just average. There was nothing particularly impressive, which is disappointing because the food and service used to be great!

My husband and I decided to head for dinner and went straight after work to beat the rush. It was dead when we got there but they still made us sit and wait 10 minutes for a table even though at least 5 empty tables were visible from where we sat. Then we waited forever to get a waiter. We had to stop one of the other waitresses to ask where our waiter was. Finally he came and got our drink and food order, didn't explain where he was or what was holding him up. Then we had to ask him for everything... refills, napkins, A-1 sauce. Plus both our steaks came out wrong and had the wrong side dishes with them. And this guy didn't apologize for anything. Next time we'll ask to speak to a manager or ask for a different server.

I love the food! The steaks are always delicious. Their fries are my absolute favorite too! The seasoning or something that they put on them is so good! They even have a $9 steak now so it's actually affordable. The only down fall is that if your trying to go on the weekends then you'll be waiting awhile. Plus they stopped call ahead seating till after 8pm.
