Mills Gourmet Takeaway - Orange

I meet up with family members for dinner recently. I was surprised at the varied menu, everything from burgers and chips, Asian meals to snitzel and vegs. Everyone had good meals served quickly and nice and hot on a cold night. We got there about 6.30 and sat and left at closing time. Everyone had a great night.We will definitely go there again next time we visit Orange

We have been regular Mills customers for many years but wouldn't bother going back after a recent visit. Under previous management the food and service were exceptional, now you pay much more for considerably less food. Go to Cocos over the road for much better food at much the same price and much friendlier staff.

I regularly call in here for lunch when passing through Orange. Food is always great, quick and well presented and staff friendly. Prices are good and quality of food no comparison compared to what you might get at other fast food place. Well worth a visit

We have been going to Mills takeaway since it opened. It has always been excellent.THIS PLACE MUST have changed management it has really gone down hill in a major way. Last week we got fish and it was old overcooked batter. Some of the batter you couldn't even chew. My husband and I thought "well everyone has a bad day we'll try again tonight" what a mistake! My husband had a fish burger which he said was very average and he was eating because he was hungry. I had a roast pork dinner $17 !!!. Disgusting. Overcooked stringy pork (what there was of it) says on the menu 10 slices there would be two max. No pork crackling which you always got previously. Biggest serving in the meal was peas which were overcooked and tasted like they came from a tin. The pumpkin was stringy and boiled with the skin on. Don't have a problem with the skin on but its a roast dinner!! your roast the pumpkin!! The potato bake was nice I think there was only a couple of mouthfuls. Very disappointing. As I said it must have changed management I didn't see any of the old owners there. It looked like a Chinese family were in charge. Anyway I certainly won't be going back.Much better quality and price anywhere in Orange, even Pizza Hut.
