Contribuisci feedbackI visited last week and ordered the steak and lobster tail, and it was honestly the worst meal I’ve had in a long time. The lobster was tough and unappetizing; it hardly tasted like lobster at all. The steak was equally disappointing—chewy and hard to enjoy. The quality has definitely declined. The service was acceptable, but the food really fell short, which is the main reason a restaurant is in business. I won't be returning.
I visited this Chuck’s with a friend tonight, and I had a great experience. The bartender was very friendly. I ordered a drink, but it turned out to be too sweet for my taste. When I mentioned to her that I’m diabetic and can’t have such sugary drinks, she remade it for me with just a splash of lime cordial. She was very accommodating, and I definitely plan to return. I highly recommend this place!
At that point, I tried to peel off the batter just to eat the fish, but I had lost my appetite. Our server mentioned she would see what she could do about our bill, and she returned with a $3.50 discount. While I didn't catch her name, I want to emphasize that she was very nice, and it wasn't her fault. However, I was disappointed that not only did we receive overcooked fish twice, but the owner didn't seem to care to properly address the issue—offering a mere $3.50 discount felt insufficient. I may reconsider spending my money here in the future. The owner of Chuck's in Orangeville needs to do better!
Service was extremely slow! We waited over 30 minutes just for our server to give us water and pop. By the time we had gotten out appetizers we had been waiting over an hour and a half, not to mention the food must have been microwaved before it hit the table! Scolding hot rubber on the outside and practically frozen on the inside. I understand it might have been a busy day for the establishment but in my mind that should be all the more reason to maintain quality customer service! I did my best to avoid conflict, however staff remained completely complacent throughout my complaints, including the apparent manager mahul? He was quick to disregard my issues and tried to explain that he was incapable of providing any assistance, although i'm sure it was just a difficult day for the team that does not mean I deserve any less. I will not be returning. If Chucks is one of multiple options, let it be your last.
Thanks to the reviews on Google we decided to come to this place and it was nice, food was good even though the waitress mess up the order as my mom, my sister and myself order the same what was different was how the meat was done. I like it more towards medium rare and my mom and sister towards well done lol so I ended up eating a medium cook steak and then my sister ended up eating it medium rare. We switch at the end but would have been better to have the good experience from start. My husband ordered a hamburger and he enjoyed it. The sweet potatoes were good, the cesar salad as well. We will be back for sure!
