This restaurant was surprisingly good it is poolside in the hotel. The service is outstanding and the food was very good. One item to not is that they do not have their standard menu on Mondays. They have a fixed price menu with a variety of appetizers to share, a limited menu and dessert. Mondays they also had a singer who was very good and it loud enough to head but soft enough to be background so that we could easily talk at the table. The pastas were all very good and overall great value for the money. Staff really take pride in their work and level of service to as great.
The service was impeccable, the food was good and the drinks were very good.
Staff and food are absolutely amazing! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Aruba!
Fresco is a nice little poolside hotel restaurant that has potential. We ordered a glass of wine, an Aperol spritz, burrata appetizer, margarita pizza and pappardelle Al Sugo. The wine was chilled and very good. The aperol spritz was watered down and probably took too long to get to the table. The burrata was very good but the tomatoes were sliced paper thin and fell apart in the dish unnoticed. The grilled bread served with it is a good idea but tasted 2-3 days old. The margarita pizza was a total miss. They have a beautiful Italian wood fire oven which excited us. The crust was flat and fell flat, not firm at all. Pizza was served very wet. The pappardelle was recommended by our waitress. The pasta tasted homemade and cooked al dente. However, the sauce was beef chunks and gravy. Was not a tender fall apart osso buco that was promised. Also the beef tasted like it was not fresh at all. Overall the dish was disappointing at best. The food was a miss, atmosphere was very good but its open air and if it’s hot out would be an issue. Would recommend you find another place to go unless you are in a pinch and just need to fill the void.
