Trattoria Ulivetto - Orcutt

I went to the restaurant for a drink and some food, but unfortunately, our experience was marred by a rude bartender with red/burgundy hair. She didn't make any eye contact, failed to provide us with a menu, and even tossed a lime seed at us with her long fingernail. To top it off, she gave us the wrong bill. I was looking forward to a nice evening with my friend, but this employee really dampened our spirits. I expected much better service from this establishment, especially since I've visited several times in the past and the service has declined.

This was frustrating, as I simply wanted to pay for what I wanted. Instead of addressing my order, she repeatedly asked if I wanted a drink—four times, in fact. It felt less like a dining experience and more like being in a bar. I came here to enjoy a nice dinner with a friend, but her attitude made me uncomfortable. Ultimately, I decided against having the second portion of Ravioli. It shouldn't feel like a burden to enjoy a meal. I appreciate good food, and when I visit, which isn't often, I want to relish the experience, not be made to feel guilty about my appetite. It's crucial for waitstaff to create a welcoming atmosphere for diners. I left feeling quite disappointed with the service.

Another highlight of my visits is Peter, the bartender, who always makes the experience memorable. Be sure to say hello and mention that Coker sent you! Just a heads-up: if you're a fan of black olives or sapphire gin, you won't find them on the menu here. Nevertheless, just walk in, and you're sure to have a great time!

Excellent choice for Italian food! We had the Fatuccine Bolognese and the Involtini di Melanzana (Eggplant) and both were delicious! We started with a Clam Chowder that was also great. Our server, Jennifer, was also fantastic! Very personal and friendly and knowledgeable! Will definitely return and will ask for Jennifer! In any case, this restaurant would recommend!

Always warm and cozy home feel. Charming owner that always greets you with a smile.
