In our frantic search for a place to settle down and get some work done while traveling, we stumbled upon the charming, family-owned Soup Town Cafe! They generously allowed us to stay past closing time, giving us plenty of time to finish our tasks while enjoying delicious sandwiches that satisfied our hunger. In short, Soup Town is a welcoming, affectionate, and delightful spot.

We were looking for a late afternoon snack and stumbled upon this charming little spot. I tried the chicken pecan salad sandwich on wheat, which was delicious—fresh bread and plenty of chicken salad. It was very tasty! I also had a caramel milkshake that really hit the spot. The service was a bit slow, likely because it was a hot afternoon and many people were there for ice cream. Overall, it was a pleasant experience!

I stopped here on my way from Bryce to Zion, and it was somewhat disappointing. The customer service was very slow; it took a long time for our orders to be taken, for our food to arrive, and even to pay the bill. There was only one person waiting tables and one in the kitchen, which likely contributed to the delays, but it was still frustrating. Additionally, the waitress seemed to be in a bad mood, which was a bit off-putting considering how busy she was. As for the food, it was just okay—nothing memorable. My family and I ordered sandwiches, and while they were decent, they didn't justify the price.

This review focuses solely on the ice cream. Treat yourself to the vanilla soft serve in a cone—it's surprisingly delicious, even for someone who doesn't usually enjoy vanilla. The shakes are also a great option, with around six different flavors available. It's a wonderful little stop, featuring a small gift shop and very clean restrooms. Thank you, ST!
