I ordered the hard taco platter and the taco shells are made in house and perfection. The chicken and carne asada could have had a little more flavor but overall lunch was really good! Cutest little location with super friendly staff!
A unique gem! The flavors at this place are unmatched! The salsas and dips you get really make it a top notch experience! It 's on a cute Main Street in Oregon City and you should definitely stop if you are nearby or live here. We started with some margaritas, which were huge and delicious! The chips came with some bean dip that really hit the spot. Even more salsas came out (6 of them! and they were phenomenal! I couldn 't begin to tell you all the flavors or types, but they are a must try! Some were very spicy! We split combo fajitas with chicken and steak. The pieces of meat were small, but plentiful. We also ordered a small guacamole and it was amazing. They let us grab corn and flour tortillas, the combinations were endless. Even the side salad was good! All mouth watering... The staff was friendly, but service was not super speedy. It seemed like one person running most of the dining room on a Sunday. We will still be back for the food. The menu has a lot of interesting options.
We found this restaurant on Yelp, and thought it would be good for a casual early dinner before graduation.... ABSOLUTELY blew us away!!! They were short staffed, but worked hard to accommodate us, and were apologizing the entire time. I have had much slower service with an attitude. The food was worth the wait, and because everything is fresh and made to order, it took a little extra time. The homemade salsas were delicious and all very unique. Authentic Mexican food made with lots of love that shows!
Tried to go to a different place and they were having a private party, so we meandered into this place and found that they had room for us. Our server was attentive and kind. The food a place worth coming back for. We were very pleased and will return
I think the best thing about this place is their variety of chip dips and salsas you can pair with the main entrees. However by no means would I consider this to be authentic Mexican food. I might come back here to get some sides including the chips and salsas but I don't think I would return to get the main things on their menus. I got the burrito and they are served in an American style with a fork and knife. I'm sorry, that's not how Mexican food is served in a Mexican restaurant. The portions are great and the staff is great as well though! I just can't see myself giving this place any higher than 3 stars due to the less than impressive main dishes. They've got a variety to choose from: burritos, tacos, enchiladas, tamales, chiles rellenos, etc. It's a small but personal location and feels a little bare for what it is. I'd go somewhere else for authentic Mexican food.
