During the first visit to this place and the people were very friendly, although I came right before the closure, which I normally stopped doing so. The Scoone was absolutely delicious and the coffee was exactly what I needed to lift my spirits. Thank you for your goodness today.
Drive slowly, or you miss this “not to miss” bakery and cafe! This mother daughter is like a step back to the time as things are earlier. You'll be welcomed when you go in. If you are regular, you will be greeted with the name. Who's on the counter wants to take care of you. The pastries and coffee are fresh and they are dELiCiOus! I love how the variety of different types of scones and roles change from time to time. If you have a certain favorite, then you'll get there early because if they're gone, they're gone! I thought I'd have to fight an older lady for a Lemon-Popyseed scam. Fortunately, there was enough to have one. Nobody had to get hurt that day. Pure Bliss Bakery Cafe is definitely a must to visit. If you are somewhere in the Portland region, it is worth the nice ride to Oregon City. This is not your run of the mill coffee house. It's more like a visit to a friend or favorite aunt that brings you a pastry and tells you that you have a few home for your mother, but you eat her piece on the way there.
Scones are so fresh, they fall in their mouth! Such an amazing local bakery!
I have been here for about 6-7 years when the old owners had it, and with the new owner Dana, who is absolutely amazing, she is such a hardworking woman, I really admire her for what she has done with the bakery, and the love she has put in, it really shows and the food is amazing, the customer service is always fantastic, and so is she too. It's hard to say what my favorite is. I don't think I've ever been dissatisfied. The Scones are the hands I've ever had.
