However, the service from the staff was lacking. Despite paying $2.00 for a soda with free refills, they were not attentive in clearing dirty plates or refilling drinks. If they could improve their attentiveness, the overall experience would be much more enjoyable.
Always good. Always consistent. New owners, yes. But we have the feeling that consistency is better now. The chicken pieces are bigger, more fleshy. (General Tso's Black Pepper). It is a noticeable improvement. During the change of ownership there might be a gap, but things are back and better than ever.
I absolutely adore Shrimp Egg Foo Yung—it's my go-to dish when I'm craving Chinese food. It's not a common item on buffets, so I always opt to order it from the menu. I am in love with the way this particular restaurant prepares their Egg Foo Yung—perfectly crispy and fluffy eggs. Despite being a small, unassuming place, the service is always top-notch, with the woman at the front counter being incredibly friendly and polite. Plus, I always seem to find some complimentary samples of spring rolls in my takeout bag!
I enjoy Chinese food. The dishes are great when ordered from the menu, and it's only about $1 more than the buffet option.
