(The one issue is they're a little unorganized so a 35 minute wait probably actually means an hour. Build in some timing flexibility but it's well worth it.
Awesome food. As always. Nice atmosphere. Everything is homemade.
Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, reasonable prices and great service. THIS IS A MADE TO ORDER RESTAURANT FOLKS!! You shouldn’t come here if you only have 30 minutes to eat only to then complain about the wait. The food is so well worth the wait. Soak in the atmosphere, enjoy a glass of wine, order their chèvre artichoke dip or bruschetta to get you started and relax. A few of our dinner favorites are The Great pizza, Chicken Marsala, Penne with homemade sausage, Butternut Squash Ravioli (their pink sauce is amazing), Analisas Favorite and their homemade tiramisu for dessert is to die for. Take in the fact that this is a small family owned restaurant that puts so much love into their food, you can taste it in every bite. They treat their employees like family and if you’re lucky enough, the owners will come out to share their stories in between the hard work they are putting in to feed you like you’re sitting at their dining room table. Give yourself time to go there, relax and you’ll quickly see how wonderful of a little gem LaRoccas is <3
After waiting over 1.5 hours for dishes I could only describe as extremely measly, we searched previous reviews. We saw photos of the food others had experienced here and were shocked by the comparison. The dishes we received (two pasta dishes with chicken) paled in comparison to what it seemed others had gotten. It appears the consistency of their dishes and efficiency of their kitchen are certainly not their top priorities. It was also painfully clear they were entirely focused on take out orders, instead of those dining in.
On a Thursday evening, a little after 5:00 p.m. we waited an hour and a half for two entrees, a salad and a pizza. The chicken Marsala consisted of three small chicken breasts that were pounded thin and barely sautéed with mushrooms that were dumped straight from the can on to the dish. The chicken Parmesan was a single, small filet hidden under a sea of sauce. No care was taken in the presentation of any of the food (the pizza was okay). Yes. We ate every bite because of the small portion sizes and the length of time it took to get our meals. Every restaurant has an off night and I wouldn’t have taken the time to write this review if it wasn’t for the $90 tab (with tip) that we paid for a truly disappointing experience. The owners don’t respond to negative reviews and it seems that they’re not into apologies, compensation or doing anything to preserve their reputation and retain customers. From the reviews I’ve read, you have pretty good odds of being left frustrated and impoverished after your meal. We felt taken advantage of after leaving this place.
