Shoreward Gastrobar Orewa

We were about to leave Orewa, but feeling a bit hungry, we decided to stop by this restaurant. We ordered the mussels with coconut Thai curry and some drinks. The combination with Thai curry was unexpected, but it was absolutely delicious! The pairing of mussels and Thai curry was perfect, and the bread that came with it went wonderfully with the soup. The beach was right in front of us, and with the beautiful weather, it made for an amazing experience. The restaurant was lively with locals, and there were plenty of dogs at the outdoor tables, adding to the warm and relaxed atmosphere. The restroom was also exceptionally clean. I’d love to come back! Thank you for the wonderful experience! I was about to leave Orewa and I was a little hungry so I stopped at this restaurant. I ordered mussels (coconut Thai curry flavor) and alcohol. The combination with Thai curry was unexpected, but it was very delicious. The mussels and cream went perfectly together, and the bread that came with it went well with it. The beach was right in front of us, the weather was nice, and we had a really nice time. It was busy with local customers, and there were many dogs at the tables outside, giving it a peaceful atmosphere. The toilet was very clean. I would love to go again! thank you!

Great food, expensive but massive meals. Staff were a bit lackluster but by no fault of there own, just young and inexperienced dealing with large crowds of people. Seems to have a high turnover of staff however. Atmosphere is nice depending on what you are looking for, inside is really overstimulating and outside is right by a busy street. So not for me. Would go back for the food though. I consider the drinks quite expensive here Food: 5

The chicken a parmigiana and nachos plates were not presented in the same way as usual, no cheese in both dishes. Nachos without cheese and chicken a parmigiana without cheese don’t taste the same. Very disappointed Service: Dine in
