During my time in the Orick area for a wildfire assignment, I visited this restaurant. The owner was incredibly gracious and even provided free coffee for the fire crews. The store was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.
The peanut out front is truly a sight to behold. Be sure to stop in the store for a scale model of the world famous 'Orick Peanut '
Teddy was working the night I pulled in. She helped me to the best of her abilities. For her kindness and hospitality I give 10/10. The store itself is a cute, little throw back with good vibes.
This is a great gas mart in Orick, the staff are very friendly and the variety of the items is good. I think they may have had a deli in the past however there is not one anymore. Items you can expect are typical gas station snacks, frozen meals, and they also have various outdoor items like firewood, fishing bait and tackle, and coleman propane canisters. If you seriously need gas you can get that here however if you can make it another 20 miles there is a Chevron in Trinidad(South) or a station on the Rancheria in Klamath(North).
