The Taste Of India - Orihuela

Never been here before but would definitely go again. Monday evening called in at 7pm. No booking but plenty of tables. Table for three was no problem. They have a large selection of food to choose from and a separate menu with set dinners for 2 or more people. Set menu of the day 5-8pm is the early bird option at 11.95€. We ordered three of these with a couple of extra sides added in. Food and service were both great. Food nice and hot and really tasty. Waiters were really nice and even gave us free shots at end of meal (peach snapps). Enjoyable evening all around and no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

Go on a Sunday and it’s €25 for a couple, each can choose any starter (inc tandoori mixed grill, as i did), any main course, you also get a bottle of wine. The service was second to none and atmosphere good. The food was fantastic and well received by everyone in the group.

Visited this place twice while on holiday early July with our four kids, the food is fantastic! The waitress is lovely and very friendly. The second time we went it was quite busy and we had to wait a little while for our food, we were given a free glass of Rose on the house. Such a nice gesture by the manager. Can't wait to return.

We've tried all the Indian restaurants around here, some have been good but this one is excellent. The food is all freshly cooked to order and tastes delicious. The €25 menu for two people includes poppadoms, a starter, a main and rice or naan, and a bottle of wine. With this deal, you can choose anything from the a la carte menu, even the king prawn dishes. They also have an early bird menu. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Naeem is very entertaining but also efficient. A great place, highly recommended. :

While visiting my parents we had a meal here. 3 adults and 2 children aged 6&9! Having previously been to the copper chimney on our Last visit and the kids been quite particular about their curries I was worried! I needn't have been as it was outstanding! Brilliant service, very accommodating and top class authentic curries! Will 100% be back again ...
