Fern - Orillia

There is nothing not to love about this place! Our family visits every August and we cannot find a better family resort.

I went to this restaurant last fall while attending a conference and must say that I was thoroughly impressed.

This restaurant comes highly recommended for a visit. There are plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. The family-friendly atmosphere is evident in the owners themselves.

Food is delicious but meat/fish portions are small; homemade buns are only available for dinner and should be available for other meals too but can be bought for $7/dozen to go; need improvement for noise during meals since staff sorting dirty dishes are VERY NOISY

Our experience in the dining room for four days, breakfast, lunch and dinner was good. The food selection and variety is excellent, with a buffet for the kids. Our server had an always great spirit and was attentive to a variety of needs for a family of 15 (5 kids under 4 and 10 adults with very different dietary wants and needs). We feel the food quality has slipped over recent years.
