We were there to try the new owners' Korean menu. They set up buffet style and there was plenty of food, salads, deserts. I did not hear anybody say they din't like the food, it was not excessively spicy, just very tasty. The dishes were labelled and explained to us. We were very pleased with a delicious meal and no 'afterburn'. They also have a very conventional NorthAmerican menu for everyday, meat loaf and such. Yes there was a mango salad.
Much improved over previous ownership and staff. Owners trying hard to remove previous ownership issues. Nice touch fresh cut flowers on table, food was cooked as ordered, and priced reasonable. Some minor reno to clean up the place. Forget the previous owners and attitude and give this place a try,
Went to Grover's for the first time since the new owners took over. Very disappointed. The place for a decent makeover but the food and service has gone downhill. We ordered the hungry man breakfast ( a diner staple) and they didn't bring the sausage or ham. When asked about it they said they were out of sausage and gave us extra bacon instead and seemed put out that we wanted our ham. It would have been nice to know they were out of sausage when we ordered since we were looking forward to it. My son ordered chocolate chip pancakes and they looked raw. He barely ate half. Also our waitress' shift ended right after we got our order and didn't say a word, just left. We only knew because we heard her tell another table. All in all we won't be back.
Friendly people in the restaurant, a nice normal size breakfast special. A couple of eggs, small serving of potatoes, some toast and some meat all served with coffee at a very reasonable price.
When on a Sunday morning for breakfast and the 11 or so tables were full! Quick an efficient service. Run of the mill breakfast, with excellent potatoes. Enjoyable experience
